Dear Tom, Shalom!

I am in China now and will be leaving for Korea next week and from there to Japan and back to Korea. I am invited to China by the Chinese official Government Church that is called the Three Self Church. I am in the province of whubei is only 80,000,000 people and it is the center of much of the hi-tech and car industry of China. They have here in the city of Wuhan a factory of VW and Citroen, and Buick. They have here the largest Fiber-Optic factory in the world and they have here several iron mills that produce iron from the mines and from the import of Iron from Brazil. Wuhan is the center for Christian Education in China and they have the big seminary and some of the biggest churches. In this city there are 1 million Christians it is only 10% of the population but they are very powerful and well organized and they love to hear about Israel and the Jewish people. I have been teaching in the seminaries in the city and in several other cities around the province and my teaching is very well accepted and exciting the students and the teachers.

By God’s help I am making connection here with top government officials and the directors of the seminary and also many very important pastors of the government churches in six provinces of China. The area that is covered by this center is bigger than all of Europe and the president of the Christian association of all of these six provinces is traveling with me day and night everywhere and participating in all my teaching. So, God can still use a one eyed 65 year old Jew. Don’t give up!

Please give my blessings to your family and church and know that I read your reports and publications and am always praising the Lord for the heart for ministry that He has given you.

Bless you my dear brother and enjoy the land of Israel and the people,

Joseph Shulam
